Folk Art Scenes
The Museum of International Folk Art
welcomes the opportunity, through its collecting and programming, to address
issues of cultural identity and how “Latino” artists from many different
backgrounds and communities articulate the diverse nature and realities of
themselves and their experiences. Such an inclusive approach allows for
comparisons and acknowledges the multiplicity and complexity of Latino artistic
and cultural identity in the United States and Puerto Rico.
