Roosevelt Campobello International Park
, park on Campobello Island, in Passamaquoddy Bay, New Brunswick, Canada; established in 1964. Campobello Island is connected by bridge to Lubec, Maine. The park is administered by a joint United States-Canadian commission. Its central attraction is the former summer home of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and his family. Roosevelt was stricken with poliomyelitis while vacationing here in 1921. Area, 11 sq km (4.25 sq mi).Text from Microsoft Encarta
